New York Nears Atlantic Series Triumph After 4-2 Win
When the stakes were high, Jean Poisson raised his game to match.

The right-handed Poisson turned in a stellar performance in Game 4 of the Atlantic Series, pitching a 9-inning, complete-game shutout to lead the New York Skyliners to victory. He allowed 9 hits and struck out 5. The win gave New York a 3-1 lead over the Los Angeles Stars in the best-of-7 series.

Noah McMillan hit a 2-run double off Chris Walker in the bottom of the first, which put the Skyliners in front, 2-0. In addition to the double, McMillan had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.

"It's a mindset," said Poisson. "Just trying to do your job, trying to be consistent."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Skyliners Stadium in New York.
