Both teams had their opportunities, but in the end, the Sedna Supernovas got the win.

The Sedna Supernovas picked up a win at Supernova Stands, courtesy of Dario Romero. The left-hander helped his team stop the Ceres Asteroids, 3-2. Romero, the winner, moves to 3-1. He threw 8 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 7 and giving up no walks.

In the bottom of the fifth inning, the Supernovas grabbed the lead when Hong-quan Thian rapped a two-out single. Sedna was trailing 2-1, when Thian hit a 2-run single off Jun-young Kim to put his team in front, 3-2.

"Dario throwing strikes, pounding the zone, that is exactly what you want to see," said Sedna manager Dan Danielson.

The Supernovas now have a mark of 34-41.
