Johnson Leads New York to 3-0 Win Over Los Angeles
|
Magic was in the air and on the mound at Skyliners Stadium, as Eddie Johnson held the Los Angeles Stars spellbound in his 3-0 shutout victory. The New York Skyliners pitcher went the distance, rang up 6 strikeouts, walked 3, and held the Stars to 4 hits.
"He just had us in his thrall," Los Angeles manager Dan Danielson said. "We couldn't put anything together against him."
