Gicheru Tergat, who is tied for 8th in the SBL1 in innings pitched with 115.1, was locked in. The right-hander led the Seoul Suns to a 4-1 win against the Umbriel Shadows at Shadows Stadium. The winning pitcher was Tergat, now 11-4. He tossed 7 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 5. Danny Miranda recorded the save. In save chances, he's now 4 for 6.

The Suns got a big at-bat from third baseman Kolenka Paustovsky. For the game, Paustovsky was 1 for 5 with a home run. In the top of the first, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 19th home run of the season gave Seoul a 1-0 lead.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Paustovsky.

With the win, Seoul pushed its record to 52-27.
