Wijbenga Delivers Walk-Off Win for Asteroids
Io got a decent performance from pitcher Lienhart Miller, but it wasn't enough to beat the Ceres Asteroids. Ceres won the Ceres Stadium contest, 5-4. Miller threw 7.0 innings of 6-hit ball for the losing team. The win for the Asteroids lifted their record to 41-38.

Daniel Wijbenga was the walk-off hero for Ceres. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Asteroids center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

Wijbenga told the Ceres Daily News: "I don't know which I enjoy more -- being a ballplayer or the perks that come with being a ballplayer."
