The Mars Maniacs defeated the Sedna Supernovas, 10-3, in part because of right fielder Didier Bruyère. Bruyère was 1-3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 and driving in 2 for the Maniacs. The victory puts Mars at 32-48.

With Mars leading 1-0 in the bottom of the third, Bruyère hit a slider from Dario Romero for a 2-run home run. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the Maniacs ahead, 3-0.

"I'm trying to see the ball big, see the ball up in the zone and put the barrel on it," Bruyère told the Mars Daily News.
