Extra-Inning Win by Anglers Over Aurora
The Providence Anglers and the Iceland Aurora played into extra innings before the winner was determined. The Anglers won it, 10-7, in 10 innings. In the game, Providence second baseman Phil Anderson went 2 for 5 with a home run. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. The win belonged to Maurice Duchemin in relief. His record improves to 1-0.
