Maniacs Win at Home, 9-2

The Mars Maniacs got a stellar effort from pitcher Noah Becht, helping Mars score a win over the visiting Lunar Dark Knights, 9-2. The winning pitcher was Becht, now 1-0. He tossed 6.2 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 2. Lunar falls to 4-6.
The Maniacs got a big boost from first baseman Alohanani Hiilani who had a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the first inning off Dark Knights hurler Keith Carter. It was his 6th walk of the season and put Mars on top, 1-0.
"It feels good to get this one," Hiilani told the Mars Daily News.
