The Lisbon Seafarers wiggled past the Providence Anglers, 6-5, in 13 innings at The Pond. The win was highlighted by the performance of Lisbon pitcher Ambrosius Schwartz. Providence now has a record of 0-2.

Bjorn Nijland contributed a productive at-bat in the top of the sixth. With runners on 1st and 3rd, he reached on an error by the SS, driving in 1 run. His at-bat helped Lisbon get the win.

"I still think this team has room for improvement," Nijland told the Lisbon Times.
