Mobile Nets 2-1 Win Versus Lions
In a low-scoring affair between the Mobile Monsters and the Paris Lions, pitcher Jack Adams was the difference between victory and defeat. The Mobile left-hander earned accolades for his stellar performance in the 2-1 Monsters win. Kyle Cunningham, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 1st save. The Monsters, now 2-0, have hit the ground running this season.

Had Jamie McIntyre not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 2nd and 3rd, McIntyre hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 2-1, in favor of the Monsters.

Adams attributed the win to his team's "grittiness."
