Paris first baseman Israel Trujillo had a 6-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Berlin Bears, 6-5. The win belonged to Seth McPherron in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Alex Hernandez took the loss for Berlin. The loss puts Berlin at 2-9.

Trujillo had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 2-2 splitter from Alex Hernandez, he banged a 2-run home run to right-center, giving the Lions a 6-5 lead. It was the 5th home run of the year for Trujillo.

"If we keep winning the close games," Trujillo said, "we'll be in good shape at the end."
