Big Day for Feltz in 13-5 Stars Win
The Los Angeles Stars cut down the Paris Lions by the score of 13-5, with the largest share of the credit going to second baseman Ray Feltz. Feltz went 4-6 with a double and 3 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 4 for the Stars. The defeat makes the Lions 6-9.

With Los Angeles leading 6-5 in the top of the fifth, Feltz hit a fastball from Teruo Noda for a 2-run double. It was his 4th double of the season and put the Stars ahead, 8-5.

"The name of the game is scoring runs," Feltz said. "We did a good job of that today."
