LF McCrery Lights Up Lions for 6 RBIs as Aurora Tie SF
With left fielder Josh McCrery leading the charge, the Iceland Aurora got a road win over the Paris Lions, 11-3, in Game 2 of the Semi-Final. McCrery went 2-4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 6 runs and scored twice at Paris Municipal Park to help Iceland force a 1-1 tie in the best-of-5 series.

Iceland used a clutch at-bat from Bill Purkis to capture the win. The second baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Aurora ahead, 5-2. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

Iceland manager Dan Danielson commended his team for "putting the pedal to the metal."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Paris Municipal Park in Paris.
