Atlantic Series Game 1 Victory for White and Mobile
The Mobile Monsters powered past the visiting Iceland Aurora, 3-2, in the opener of the Atlantic Series at Mobile Park. Mobile starting pitcher Sean White threw 7.2 innings of 4-hit ball, to lead the charge. The Monsters now lead the series 1-0.

Mobile shortstop Katsumi Aono helped the Monsters go up, 3-2, in the bottom of the sixth inning. With the game tied, Aono hit a run-scoring double off Iceland pitcher Hirose Inouye.

"We just didn't score enough runs to win," said Iceland manager Dan Danielson.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Mobile Park in Mobile.
