Iceland registered a win at Aurora Field by beating the Lisbon Seafarers, 4-1. Pitcher John Hahn was one reason why the Aurora triumphed. Hahn got the win, improving to 1-1. He gave up 5 hits and walked 3 over 7 innings. He allowed 1 run. Tim Siragusa wrapped it up, recording his 2nd save.

In the top of the ninth, Anthony Brunt stood in the box, looking for a pitch to hammer. The Seafarers were trailing 4-1, but had the bases loaded. That's when Tim Siragusa made a terrific pitch and Brunt grounded out. Gone was the dream of a Lisbon comeback.

The Aurora, now 11-5, have played some good baseball in the early going.
