The home crowd had a good time watching the Paris Lions and Sicily Mafia get after it.

Starting pitcher Pippo Ammanati had a solid game. He was a big reason the Sicily Mafia throttled the Paris Lions, 3-1. The Lions, now 6-10, continue their sluggish start.

Ammanati earned the win to move to 2-2. In his complete game performance, he allowed 1 run on 5 hits, striking out 4 and walking 2.

"Pippo is pitching with a lot of determination and a lot of fire," said Sicily manager Dan Danielson.
