The Berlin Bears went down to defeat to Alexis Petito and his Sicily teammates. The final score was 3-1, in favor of the Mafia. The winning pitcher was Petito, now 2-1. He tossed 8 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 4 and fanning 4. Giovanni Ferraro got credit for the save for Sicily. It was his 2nd of the year.

With two out in the bottom of the first, Karl Gallizio put Sicily in front, 2-0, with a 2-run single. The Mafia went on to win the ballgame.
