Iceland Aurora starter John Hahn turned in an exceptional performance against the Sicily Mafia at Aurora Field, resulting in a Iceland win, 4-1. Hahn yielded 1 run over 8.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 3, and struck out 4. His record improves to 1-2. The Aurora raised their record to 5-13.
In the bottom of the fourth inning of a 0-0 tie, Iceland second baseman Caesar Friis-Knutzen reached on an error by the 3B, driving in 2 runs. It broke the deadlock and put Iceland on top, 2-0.
"Winning is hard sometimes," said Aurora manager Dan Danielson. "This one was nice to get."
