The Los Angeles Stars and Paris Lions played an entertaining game for Stars Stadium patrons.

The Los Angeles Stars got a good effort from starter Raul Ropotan in defeating the Paris Lions at Stars Stadium. The final score was 3-2. The Stars have stumbled out of the gate, getting only their 4th win in 16 games.

Jesse Morgan had a critical at-bat with two out in the bottom of the sixth for Los Angeles. He came through with a run-scoring single to put Los Angeles in front, 2-0.

"Raul -- his tempo and rhythm were good," said Stars manager Dan Danielson. "He was the key to us winning."
