Paris picked up a win at Mussolini Municipal Park, bumping off the Sicily Mafia, 5-1. Pitcher Parker Frost was a major reason the Lions emerged victorious. With the win over Sicily, the Lions improved to 7-11.

Paris second baseman Josh Galey contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the sixth. With two down, he hit a cutter to right field for a 2-run single. It was his 22nd hit of the season and put the Lions ahead, 5-1.

"Winning makes the heart grow fonder -- for more winning," said Galey, cracking a smile.
