Seafarers Slap 6-2 Loss on New York
The Lisbon Seafarers knocked off the New York Skyliners, 6-2, at Seafarers Stadium. Kazu Nakanishi was a big reason Lisbon won. The first baseman went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Lisbon pitcher Griff Murphy got the win. He's now 3-1. Bobby Stamper was tagged with the loss. The win hiked the Lisbon record to 13-6.

With Lisbon leading 2-1 in the bottom of the third, Nakanishi hit a cutter from Bobby Stamper for a 3-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Seafarers ahead, 5-1.

Lisbon manager Dan Danielson commended his team for exhibiting "no shortage of effort."
