van Duren Helps Iceland Cruise to 10-3 Win
The Iceland Aurora took on the Providence Anglers at The Pond.

Huibert van Duren had a 3-RBI game, during Iceland's 10-3 triumph over the Providence Anglers. van Duren contributed 1 single and 1 home run to the cause. John Hahn picked up the win, improving his season record to 2-1. He struck out 3 in 9 innings.

Iceland used a clutch at-bat from Joel Reid to capture the win. The designated hitter hammered a grand slam home run in the top of the first inning to put the Aurora ahead, 5-0. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"We came out aggressive," said Aurora manager Dan Danielson. "We came out swinging the bats."
