Mussolini Municipal Park was the site of a remarkable pitchers' duel.

Iceland turned a fine outing from starter John Hahn into a victory over the Sicily Mafia at Mussolini Municipal Park. The final score was 1-0. Tim Siragusa notched his 2nd save of the season.

Greg Ivany, who signed a 6-year contract worth $150,000 on 10/21/1952, had a direct impact on the outcome. Ivany contributed a run-scoring ground out in the top of the fourth inning to put Iceland up, 1-0.
