Sicily registered a win at Mussolini Municipal Park by beating the Newfoundland Labradors, 4-3. Pitcher Alexis Petito was one reason why the Mafia triumphed. Petito picked up the win for Sicily, going 6.1 innings. He gave up 3 runs on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 3-1. Enea Paluzzi recorded his 1st save for Sicily.

Sicily shortstop Pascal Boccanera helped the Mafia go up, 4-3, in the bottom of the sixth inning. With the game tied, Boccanera hit a run-scoring single off Newfoundland pitcher Mark Lapointe.
