The Paris Lions beat the Mobile Monsters, 9-3, at Storm Kings Stadium. Paris designated hitter Buddy Snoeren had an outstanding performance. He went 2 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4. Edwin Sanchez picked up the win, improving his season record to 1-0. He struck out 2 in 9 innings. Mobile, with the loss, is 1-2.

Paris used the clutch hitting of Octavio Muro to capture the win. The shortstop drilled a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to give the Lions the lead, 3-0. For the game, Muro had 1 single and 1 double in 4 at-bats.
