Los Angeles and New York duked it out and the Stars came out victorious.
In the 10-7 Los Angeles win over New York, the impact of Greg Bradbury was substantial. Bradbury, who is tied for 4th in the TOBA with a .958 OPS, went 2 for 5 with a home run. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. Los Angeles starter Chris Walker was credited with the win after throwing 118 pitches over 8 innings. His record now stands at 4-3.
In the top of the seventh, the Stars grabbed the lead when Bradbury hit his 3rd home run of the season. The 3-run home run off Mike Butler made it 9-6, Los Angeles.
"It was a solid team effort," said Bradbury after the game.
With the win, Los Angeles has a record of 11-12. New York falls to 9-14.
