The Mobile Monsters downed the Paris Lions, 10-2. The hitting star was center fielder Jamie McIntyre. McIntyre went 2 for 3 with 2 singles and 3 walks, while scoring 3 times for the Monsters. Mobile raised its record to 14-10 with the win.

Matt Ward had a big 2-run double for the Monsters in the top of the third inning. With Mobile leading 4-1 and the bases loaded, he got a sinker from Iiro Mikkola, who finished 4th in the TOBA in ERA with 2.68 last year, and swatted a double to right. It was his 5th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Monsters ahead, 6-1.
