Aurora Suffer 6-4 Home Defeat
The Paris Lions finished off the Iceland Aurora, 6-4. Much of the credit belonged to first baseman Jon Bertelson. Bertelson went 1-3 with 3 walks for the Lions. Paris has won 4 straight, while Iceland has lost 3 in a row.

Paris used the timely hitting of Octavio Muro to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Lions on top, 6-4. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

Muro told a Paris Citizen reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
