TOBA News: Draft Pool Revealed Wednesday, July 3rd , 1957 Trans-Oceanic Baseball Association has dealt the cards out on the table, announcing the list of players looking to draw a glimpse of success in the 1957 first-year player draft. Management and scouting veterans from all teams will be able to review candidates for 90 days prior to the draft and determine who might be appropriately suited for a future role in the upcoming shuffle of fortune and fate. The Transactions page will devote a section to these prospects. The early favorites to be high picks are the following: 1. Jay Mijatovic, 18 year-old SS out of high-school. 2. Adan Mayfield, 20 year-old RF out of college. 3. Thomas Henry, 18 year-old 2B out of high-school. 4. Darrell Keereweer, 19 year-old C out of high-school. 5. Randy Gould, 18 year-old 3B out of high-school. 6. Jerrod Francis, 19 year-old RF out of college. 7. Travis English, 18 year-old RF out of high-school. 8. Ben Olinghouse, 18 year-old LF out of high-school. 9. Charlie Dryden, 18 year-old 3B out of high-school. 10. Carlos Sandoval, 19 year-old 3B out of high-school.
