Title Captured - Trans-Oceanic Baseball Association East Division Won by Lisbon Friday, August 12th , 1955 "We're not done yet!" That was the resounding sentiment in the Lisbon Seafarers locker room when they were told they had clinched the Trans-Oceanic Baseball Association East Division title, for the 2nd time. With a 45-36 record, Lisbon's stars certainly feel like they have a good chance to go all the way. "We've learned a lot under Dan Danielson's tutelage this year. He's taught us to never be over-confident, and to play every game like a championship game. I think with him and the team we have, we have a great chance to bring a 1st championship to Lisbon this year," said catcher Loflinger Schneider. |
