At the young age of only 26, Tim Siragusa has been named the Trans-Oceanic Baseball Association Reliever of the Year Award winner for 1953.
The future appears bright for the Iceland Aurora relief ace, who captured the award with 10 saves in 22 relief appearances, 16 strikeouts in 27.1 innings and a record of 1-0 to go with his 2.30 ERA.
He received 5 first place votes out of a possible 8. Kyle Cunningham of the Mobile Monsters finished second in voting with 2 first place votes, while William Kelly of the Paris Lions finished third with 1 first place vote.
