Best TOBA Reliever Named Friday, September 18th , 1953 At the young age of only 26, Tim Siragusa has been named the Trans-Oceanic Baseball Association Reliever of the Year Award winner for 1953. The future appears bright for the Iceland Aurora relief ace, who captured the award with 10 saves in 22 relief appearances, 16 strikeouts in 27.1 innings and a record of 1-0 to go with his 2.30 ERA.
