No Late-Season Magic Coming: Paris Out of Playoffs Wednesday, August 20th , 1958 The Paris Lions may still need a piece or two before becoming championship material in Trans-Oceanic Baseball Association. The team has fallen short of its playoff goals this year, being officially eliminated from the playoffs today. "I feel like we have a great group," Lions manager Dan Danielson said. "We happened to come up short or our goal, though. We'll re-tool and be back stronger next season." The Lions last missed the playoffs in 1955. |
