Rookie Trophy Reeled in by Belgrade's Solevic Tuesday, July 29th , 1958 Nermin Solevic of the Belgrade Belters made quite a splash on the Yugoball scene in 1958 by nabbing the Rising Star Award. The standout Belters center fielder took the honor by hitting .259 in 45 games this season and finishing with 41 hits, 7 home runs, 19 RBIs and 18 runs scored. He received 8 first place votes out of a possible 10.
