Podgorica, Belgrade Confirm Deal Wednesday, May 25th , 1955 Today at a press conference the Podgorica Penguins announced a trade has been completed with the Belgrade Belters. The Penguins have shipped 24-year old LF Stevan Mrdja, 23-year old LHP Koviljko Suljic, 24-year old 2B Milos Kovacevic, and a 4th round draft pick to the Belters for 26-year old 2B Aku Palonen. Kovacevic on the season is hitting .242 with 1 home run. His stats include 6 RBIs and 3 runs scored. Palonen is batting .250 this season in 21 games with no home runs, 8 RBIs and 4 runs scored. He has 22 hits in 88 at-bats. |
