Bora Andric Wins YB Trophy Monday, June 27th , 1955 When it came to hitting the baseball, Bora Andric was in a class by himself in the Yugoball this past week. Nobody did it better. The outstanding right fielder for Sarajevo tagged opposing pitchers for a .480 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 12 hits in 25 at-bats, 1 homers, 3 runs scored and 6 RBIs. Looking at his present stats, Andric has compiled a .322 batting average in 47 games with a .378 on-base percentage, while hitting 1 home run and driving in 22 runs. |
