Ljubljana No Match for Bogic Monday, June 22nd , 1953 The Ljubljana Tigers were almost helpless in their 7-0 loss to the Sarajevo Silver Knights and hurler Dzevat Bogic. Bogic kept the Tigers confused all game, spinning a 7-hit shutout. "Tip your hat to Bogic," Ljubljana manager said in a postgame interview. "He kept us off balance all night." The 26-year-old right-hander had 1 walk and 3 strikeouts in a strong performance. "It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play," Bogic said. "It was just one of those games that things went my way." So far this season, Bogic has logged a 5-3 record with a 2.83 ERA.
