YB Batting Title Belongs to Nedic Friday, July 8th , 1955 One of the more prestigious postseason awards is presented to the league batting champion. The Yugoball recipient this year is Pristina's 24-year-old third baseman Boris Nedic, who hit .326 over 53 games. Included in this accomplishment were 74 hits in 227 at-bats, 4 home runs, 25 runs batted in and 36 runs scored. Nedic spoke humbly to reporters about the award. "It's such a difficult thing to do," he explained, "There are a lot of great hitters in this league and to outhit them all is very special." |
