Skopje Wins Top Spot in Yugoball Wednesday, July 8th , 1953 The Yugoball crown was certainly in question throughout the season, but the Skopje Wild Horses have now finally claimed it. With a record of 32-24, the club has won its 1st division title. "It's special," left fielder Boris Krejcir said when asked to sum up his feelings. "It's easy to take for granted what it's like to be on a winning team, but everyone who has ever been on a loser knows how sweet this is." The team's manager said the focus for his club will now shift towards getting ready for the playoffs, where they will be trying to win the 1st championship in franchise history. |
