Novi Sad Wins Play-in Game Tuesday, July 14th , 1953 The Novi Sad Bears will continue the trek towards a Yugo Classic title, while the Sarajevo Silver Knights are headed home for the season. Novi Sad won the Play-in Game with a clinching game 5-0 victory at Silver Knights Park, concluding the series at 3-1. "We didn't want this thing to go any further, that's for sure," Jovan Djokovic said after officially being named series MVP. He turned in a dominant offensive performance to win the award, with a .579 batting average, .579 on-base percentage, 1 home runs, 3 RBI and 2 runs scored. The Novi Sad Bears will play against the Skopje Wild Horses in the next round. Skopje had a bye in the Play-in Game. The Yugo Classic schedule will be announced after the Play-in Game finishes.
