Markovic Silences Zagreb, 4-0 Monday, May 12th , 1952 The Zagreb Commodores met their match today in Novi Sad hurler Djodja Markovic. He kept them guessing the whole game and spun a 4-hit shutout. "He just worked us over," Zagreb skipper said. "He probably didn't even need a shower after the game -- he barely worked up a sweat." In the 4-0 victory, Markovic whiffed 2 and gave up 2 walks.
