Asteroids Deal Jennings to Dracos for Ferrer Tuesday, August 31st , 1999 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Asteroids announced today the acquisition of 23-year old LHP Clodio Ferrer from the Deimos Dracos in exchange for 24-year old C Marcus Jennings, 23-year old minor league RF Min-hwi Shin, and 24-year old minor league RHP Masanori Takada. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Asteroids, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." |
