Trade: Puro for Renard Saturday, May 8th , 1999 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Lumineers announced today the acquisition of 26-year old 1B Salvatore Renard from the Deimos Dracos in exchange for 23-year old minor league SS Enreecko Puro and 20-year old minor league RHP Arturo Aguilar. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Lumineers, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." |
