New York D Draws Blanks Against Kuhlman
Friday, July 15th , 1955
Goose eggs were the order of the day for the New York D Gold Miners as starter Brian Kuhlman shut them out, 2-0, at Houston S A Fields. The Mobile D pitcher struck out 7 and walked 1 while allowing 3 hits.
"Kuhlman was good but he wasn't flawless," New York D manager said. "We had a few opportunities to make something happen and we didn't do it. Not to take anything away from Mobile D, but this is on us."
