Seoul Deals Kim to Mexico City for Chapple Saturday, April 3rd , 1999 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Suns announced today the acquisition of 26-year old LHP Charlie Chapple from the Mexico City Meteors in exchange for 24-year old minor league C Jeremy Nolan, 23-year old minor league RHP Leon Maldonado, 20-year old minor league RHP Danny Rios, 22-year old minor league RHP Aletona Leena, and 24-year old RHP Bong-su Kim. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Suns, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." |
