Navigators-99ers Deal: Yarran for Vasilakos Friday, July 9th , 1999 BNN has learned the Neptune Navigators have reportedly worked out a deal with the Tokyo 99ers. Sources close to the Navigators indicated that a trade has been reached in principle where 23-year old LHP Nick Vasilakos and 21-year old minor league RHP Ramil Pulle will be swapped to Neptune with 25-year old SS Ekana Yarran heading to Tokyo. Neither organization would comment on the report, saying it was club policy not to speak about a trade until it was finalized. Yarran is currently hitting at a .228 pace with 10 home runs and 23 RBIs. He has played in 45 games and scored 31 times. |
