Nolan and Lovell Traded Sunday, July 11th , 1999 The Meteors and Dynamos announced a deal that was completed today. Mexico City sent 24-year old minor league C Jeremy Nolan, 20-year old minor league RHP Danny Rios, 21-year old minor league RHP Matthew Worsfold, and 22-year old minor league RHP Aletona Leena to Dione for 23-year old RHP Scott Dory and 23-year old CF Bill Lovell. Both teams appear happy with the outcome of the trade. The general managers told the Baseball News Network they felt the swap was beneficial for all parties involved. For the season, Lovell is hitting .189, batted in 12 runs with 3 home runs and 23 runs scored. |
