Trade: Karribi for Laing Sunday, July 11th , 1999 After a week of negotiations, the Maniacs and Plutarchs have come to terms on a deal that will send 26-year old RHP Makanamaikai Karribi to Pluto for 24-year old RHP Alexander Laing. This season, Karribi has nailed down 8 saves. In 16.2 innings he has fanned 14 batters and walked 9. His record is 1-4 with a 5.94 ERA and the opposition is batting .338 against him. |
