Manigo Raps Berlin Technical College for 5 Hits Thursday, March 27th , 1952 No matter what the Berlin Technical College Jayhawks threw him, Colt Manigo hit it. The 20-year-old Rome Community College All-Stars first baseman racked up 5 hits in 5 at-bats at Jayhawks Park and led the All-Stars to a win, 11-1. Colt Manigo singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, tripled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. At present, Manigo is batting .433 and has collected 5 home runs, 25 RBIs, .472 OBP and scored 24 runs. |
