Behind an impressive start by Brian Robb, Lisbon beat Providence, 6-2. The winner was Robb. He threw 7.2 innings of 5-hit ball. The loser was Cyril Dimitrakos. Roland Rolland, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 1st save.

Philip Harteros helped out the Lisbon cause in the top of the seventh inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the catcher drew 1 walk.
