Asteroids Suffer 6-4 Road Loss
|
The Keiper Krakens picked up a win at Kraken Grounds, knocking off the Ceres Asteroids, 6-4. On the mound for Keiper was left-hander Sung-min Hwang. He played a key role in the triumph. Keiper now has a record of 19-11 with the win.
Had Clyde Berry not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Berry hit a 2-run single. That made the score 6-4, in favor of the Krakens.
"Sung-min had good stuff. When he did get into a compromising count, he made the most of it," said Keiper manager Richard Stryker.
