Walter, Lions Too Much for Monsters
The 8-4 Paris win over Mobile was due in large part to Roger Walter. The Lions left fielder was 4-4 with a double, 3 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. Paris is now 20-24, Mobile 19-25.

Paris center fielder Romain Larue contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the second. With two down, he hit a curveball to center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 42nd hit of the season and put the Lions ahead, 3-0.

Paris manager Dan Danielson was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys went out there and put good wood on the ball," he said.
