Jayden Lindsey made an impact in the 6-2 Los Angeles win over Sicily. Lindsey, who is tied for 6th in the TOBA with a .330 batting average, was 3-4 with 3 singles and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Picking up the win was Brandon Lanning. He went 6 innings, allowing 2 runs on 8 hits. The right--hander struck out 4 and walked 3. Khalil Smith sewed up the save, his 1st.

There was more than one reason the Stars beat the Mafia, but Lindsey's big at-bat in the bottom of the third was an important factor. He staked his team to a 4-2 lead when he hit a 2-run single.

"We put our best foot forward tonight," said a smiling Lindsey.

The Stars now have a record of 25-27 with the win over Sicily.
